What Happened?
The government highlighted the PM E-DRIVE scheme on 1 October 2026. The scheme has an outlay of ₹11,900 crore and has been extended to March 2028, supporting electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, e-ambulances, e-trucks, e-buses, charging infrastructure and testing-agency upgrades.
